Diwali 2021: Here’s How Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan And Family Celebrated The Festival After Son Aryan’s Bail
The recent report quoted a source talking about the importance of this year’s Diwali and the current mood in Mannat.
A lot has changed ever since Covid-19 hit us. However, Diwali 2021 turned out to be a special one as the festive season is all set to witness big movie releases owing to the reopening of the theatres and Bollywood celebrating hosting parties as they step out in ethnic wear.
The Badshah of Bollywood is known to host one of the grandest festive celebrations at his Mumbai residence, Mannat. But, his son Ayran Khan’s arrest in a drug case seems to have made it seemingly difficult for the family to celebrate yet. Amid all the speculations fans seem a bit more interested to know, how Shah Rukh Khan and his family celebrated Diwali this year.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri’s Diwali party is one that everyone looks forward to. Apart from their do at their sea-facing home in Mumbai’s Bandra, the duo also takes off to Alibuag with their closest few to spend some quality time.
Now, a BollywoodLife report quoted a source talking about the importance of this year’s Diwali and the current mood in Mannat.
“They certainly have reasons to celebrate. It was Shah Rukh’s birthday recently and then Diwali and their beta Aryan is home with them. The nightmare that ensued after the drugs case is over, but the trauma remains, and it will take some time to go. The mood has been sombre so low-key celebrations were expected,” said the source.
The report further stated how Shah Rukh and his family celebrated Diwali this year and said, “The family spent time in each other’s company and that was just the way they wanted it. They skipped inviting anyone over this time and connected with friends only through phone. With good food and long conversations is how SRK, Gauri, Aryan and AbRam spent their Diwali. Suhana, who has been away connected over phone and video calls with everyone.”
For the unversed, Aryan Khan has been summoned by the NCB just a day after Diwali. As per one of the points in his conditional bail, Aryan will mark his presence at the NCB office every Friday between 11am – 2 pm. Failing at any of the 14 points may attract the cancellation of bail.
